Hello Contagious,
Welcome to the first of what will be many regular month-end status updates.
It's James! I'm still your point person in our post-kickstarter campaign phase.
We're about to start getting into the regular rhythm of month-end status updates. It's a pretty involved and dynamic process, creating these books, so I want to ensure that I have constant and consistent communication with all backers. Each month, I'll be providing a status update for our rewards (usually nothing more complicated than "delivered" or "pending"), as well as sharing information about this project and other Onyx Path projects where possible.
Many of these updates will be similar - these projects take a fair amount of time to build, and some stages are multi-part processes, so a book in "Development"may not show incremental updates in our monthly summary, but there's always forward progress being made.
And, just a reminder to confirm your rewards in your BackerKit survey, if you haven't done so already. After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

The Onyx Path team are gathering for the UK Game Expo! Eddy Webb, Matt McElroy, and Rich Thomas have traveled across the sea to join Matthew Dawkins, Steffie de Vaan, John Burke, Chris Allen, and Klara Herbol at the UK Games Expo this weeked, May 31st - June 2nd. Pirates of Pugmire is a chronicle sourcebook for both Pugmire and Monarchies of Mau. It’s usable in either game, or as part of a joint experience. Some highlights include:
* Two new species for players to enjoy: lizards and birds
* Six new callings, including two for dogs and two for cats
* Rules for building, sailing, and sinking ships
* A trove of new allies, enemies, and treasures
* Information on Waterdog Port and Port Matthew
* “Going on the Account” a chronicle of three new adventures, taking characters from 1st through 6th level

It's been a bit quiet since the end of the campaign, but that was all about getting ready for the next phase... and here we are!
It's James, your patient zero for this kickstarter project.
BACKER SURVEYS
Over the next few days, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in the Midnight Library bundles.
Midnight Library PDF Bundles
You'll be able to select the Midnight Library PDF Bundles in the Add On screen, which is a step in your overall survey process. When you select any of these PDF Bundles, you'll see additional follow-up questions asking you to select each specific title. Make sure you've completed your entire survey (you'll see the questions on the right as you work through them) and confirmed each title in your bundle.
Choose your title. Select NEXT QUESTION> to move through the questions on the right, and press NEXT when all choices have been made.

Hello Contagious Kickstarter Backers,
It's James, your point person for this kickstarter campaign.
Now that the campaign is over and we've shared the many preview sections of the manuscript, it's time to piece all the parts together and present the manuscript in one single download file.
There are no massive changes or re-written text pieces in this compiled manuscript; it's just the previews we've already shared mashed together in proper order, as well as adding the fiction pieces into the manuscript for a little flavor.
As I've noted with every update, please remember that this manuscript is not yet be in the final form -- there are still minor edits, maybe a few typos, and possibly some rough edges still to sand down on this preview, but you can consider it about 95% finished.
Also note, if anything looks really weird, there may be a couple of odd artifacts that popped in when I was combining all of the sections and creating the PDF. I had a few issues... but it's all done now! :)
In the next day, I'll be removing all of the previous files that were shared, and this will be the only link that remains active until the PDF is ready, so please use this one going forward. Enjoy!

Hello Contagious,
The Contagion has been Contained! OR, it has infected everyone! I can't remember whether we wanted to defeat it or have a world-wide outbreak as a symbol of our success!
Either way, WE DID IT!! We funded the creation of the Contagion Chronicle PDF + prestige hardcover book!
It's James, your very exhausted point person for this kickstarter campaign.
And not just that! We unleashed THIRTEEN STRETCH GOALS!
Lucky 13? Only in the Chronicles of Darkness!!
Contagion Chronicle: Player's Companion, the PDF supplement that will cover crunchy rules section(s) on supernatural interactions with examples and guidance, had all 4 sections ("horsemen") added during this campaign!
Contagion Chronicle: Global Outbreaks, the PDF travelogue supplement that will add new locations and new manifestations of the Contagion had 5 sections added.
Those sections will directly translate into page and word counts for Matthew to assign to his team of writers and developers, allowing them to explore more ideas and expand the Contagion Chronicle even further!
Plus DIGITAL WALLPAPER, a discounted BACKER T-SHIRT, and a couple of fun reward tiers that will allow a few backers to mess up the world of the Chronicles of Darkness.

So, thank you to all the backers who supported us and made this happen. And a personal thanks to everyone who participated online, either in the comments section of the kickstarter or on social media around the web.
When we launched this project, I was battling a cold and the joyous onset of seasonal allergies - basically, I was just constantly leaking and coughing. I wasn't sure if that was a good omen or not, but with the Contagion Chronicle, it turned out to be a positive sign! So, now that I'm recovered and not sneezing, I can once more comfortably give out high-fives!
COMMUNICATION
So, as noted in the previous update, I'll be sending out updates once a month and whenever we've got a new goal, survey, or other item to cover. If you have any questions or need clarification on something related to the kickstarter, you can leave it in the comment section - I will be notified with every addition. Or, you can find the Contact Creator button and Rich will forward your message to me.
So, thanks to everyone for helping build this community and this chronicle and celebrating the epic stories that we can tell with our Sin-Eaters and Changelings and Werewolves (Oh my!)
