Hello Kickstarter Backers!
We're in the final week of May, so it's time for our month end project status update.
I hope everyone is doing as well as possible and keeping safe.
Before we review our current reward status, I just wanted to note a recent Chronicles of Darkness release that may be of interest.

Hello kickstarter backers!
I hope you're all well and managing as best possible under these extraordinary circumstances. We've come to the end of another month, so it's time for our regular review of our projects and where we stand.
It's my daughter's birthday today, and I've been told that dinner will be "semi-formal" so I think this works. The sunglasses are the "semi" part.

According to the most recent Monday Meeting Notes, Global Outbreaks is in Active Development, and the Player's Companion is in Editing, which means they're still being worked on and no major changes since last month. That's probably because the main book, the Contagion Chronicle itself, is in Proofing! Hopefully, there won't be too many errors or corrections and and it can work it's way to us before too much longer! Still main sign-offs needed, but getting ever closer!

As the third decade of the 21st century dawns, the Technocratic Union stands on the cutting edge of a future imperiled. As science and technology draw humanity closer than ever before, certain factions within the Masses display gross negligence, undermining the Union’s work and endangering the world for shortsighted gains. Despite global telecommunications, new frontiers in virtually every field of study, and an understanding of the universe only dreamed of by earlier generations, humanity faces threats on all sides.
Can You Save It?
Climate change threatens to destroy life as we know it. Religious fundamentalism breeds terror around the globe. Diseases, once eradicated in the developed world through vaccination, have returned due to antivaxxer movements. Totalitarian, nationalist governments rise as the Masses succumb to fear of the other. The world stands on the brink of destruction, and it is up to the agents and operatives of the Technocratic Union to save it…or be its ultimate destruction.
Technocracy Reloaded peels back the curtain and examines the role of the Technocracy in Mage 20th Anniversary Edition. The various Future Fates presented in Mage 20 are examined and this book introduces a few of its own. This book provides a detailed look at life within the Technocracy, expanded information on the Conventions, a wealth of equipment, Adjustments, and Procedures, a breakdown of the various shadow conspiracies and factions within the Technocratic Union, and tips for running your own Technocracy Chronicle.

Hello Kickstarter Backers,
Well, I held off writing the update for this one until the last moment. No clever puns or catchy greetings for this one, though they're pretty obvious. Hopefully, we can get back to goofy James by the next Month End update! Instead, I'm just going to make this status update super-quick: I hope each of you is staying safe and doing as well as possible in the current situation. Stay safe, and find comfort in your community and relationships.

Hello Contagious!
Did you think I would forget about our month-end update?! NEVER!
Thank goodness for Leap Year sneaking in an extra day for me to get stuff done!
No major annoucements with this update, but I did want to do a quick tour around the Chronicles of Darkness to see where we are with the latest projects from that line...
The Geist: The Sin-Eaters book has shipped to kickstarter backers, and will very soon be released for purchase in PDF, Print-on-Demand, and hardcover format through our online partners and your favorite game and hobby shops. Look for an announcement coming soon on Onyx Path's website (www.theonyxpath.com)
DEVIANT: The Renegades is currently in the Editing phase of the project. This Storytelling Game of Vengeance had a successful kickstarter, and helped fund two supplements and a novella. The funding campaign has long been concluded, but the book is available to pre-order from it's BackerKit order page here: https://deviant-the-renegades.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
Mummy: The Curse recently joined the Chronicles of Darkness second edition format with a successful kickstarter campaign. Hunter: The Vigil is the latest Chronicles of Darkness kickstarter campaign, and, I believe, the final game in need of an update to the Second Edition format. We've got less than a week to go, and we're hoping to fund one or two more Stretch Goal additions and go out strong! Help us stand vigil and keep the darkness at bay AND complete your Chronicles of Darkness Second Edition collection!
Of course, when I start seeing all of those Chronicles of Darkness titles, I eventually start thinking about mashing them together. Here's the latest on our epic cross-over chronicle.

The Contagion Chronicle is currently in the Layout phase of the project, so making good progress. Global Outbreaks is in the Development phase, while the Player's Guide is in Editing. Everything sliding forward. In addition to the rewards we helped fund, Onyx Path is also working on some additional related projects to help others get into our game. I look forward to seeing how those turn out.

Hunter: The Vigil Second Edition is a standalone game that can be played by new or existing players. The lore has been updated to not only reflect the uptick in monsters, but also the fact that hunting monsters is not exclusive to a location, group of people, or time period. There may be more monsters than ever before, but now there are more ways to fight them, too.
In Hunter: The Vigil, anyone can be a hunter — provided you are committed to the hunt. It is a game of personal horror and sacrifice that tests relationships and encourages teamwork within a cell, compact, or conspiracy.
